Bathroom Fitting

Your bathroom may be one of the smallest rooms in your home, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be one of the most stylish and luxurious. I can transform your space for you re-plumbing, re-wiring and installing any combination of bathroom fixtures and fittings that you choose. I will finish the space with expert tiling on walls and floors to create a beautiful new bathroom you will enjoy for years to come.

I am happy to work with you to offer advice on realising your vision for your bathroom or I can recommend the services of Drab to Fab Design in Horsham, who I work with regularly for design work. I can install fixtures and fittings if you wish to order them independently and I can advise on tiles and flooring choices. I am flexible and can work with you in whatever capacity you wish.

Modern Victorian Bathroom

This Victorian bathroom was in need of a renovation to make it useable, and with this age of property this level of work meant dealing with imperial pipework, lathe and plaster walls and ceilings, and old wiring. Everything was replaced and brought up to modern standards (but not push fit and plastic pipework, I prefer to use copper pipes and solder my fittings). I insulated and levelled the floor with latex, fitted the underfloor heating mat and tiled on top. The design reflects the Victorian style of the home with green patterned tiles in the shower and on the vanity wall, but the modern fixtures suit the needs of family life.

Landing Bathroom

This client wished to make better use of the landing space to enlarge a cloakroom to make a full first floor bathroom. I took down the existing wall and reframed the new bathroom wall including fitting a pocket door. I blocked up the second window from the oustide and created a lit niche in the shower. I installed a wall hung toilet directly below the window sill to maximise the floor space. The bathroom was fully replumbed, rewired, replastered and tiled. I installed an Aqualisa shower as there was a low pressure system.

This bathroom had a concrete floor and the client wanted a flush shower tray. To achieve this, I channeled out the existing floor to accommodate a new waste for the shower. A concealed cistern is also streamlined with a lit niche above. The room was fully tiled with a newly plastered ceiling with new downlighters fitted.

This complete renovation included installing a Flova shower tray sunk into the floor to run level with the floor tiles for a seamless finish, a jacuzzi bath and vanity with basin on top.

Previously this bathroom was unfinished from the original house build and unused. The key to making this useable again was a bespoke shower screen which worked in the eaves. I installed an Amtico vinyl floor and glossy terrazzo tiles.

This teenage girls bathroom is full of high tech and colour. Above the sink I intalled a recessed lit cabinet and above the smart washing toilet, is a recessed TV. I made a feature of the hexagon tiles in this area and also around the free-standing bath on the opposite wall.

This was a new bathroom created in an attic as a master suite. The double vanity was made bespoke for the space and the next to that is a smart washing toilet. The large shower enclosure is fully tiled with a flush shower tray.

In this bathroom I fitted 60 x 60cm grey marble-effect porcelain tiles and white fixtures which offset the navy blue sink drawers and painted walls to create a stylish new bathroom.

On the opposite wall to the sink and toilet previous I used the marble-effect porcelain tiles (note the matching grout lines from wall to bath surround to give a streamlined look) and built a false wall to house the shower plumbing and provide square-edged pigeon holes for storage.

In this very large bathroom there was space for me to fit a double vanity which was constructed from two cabinets with a continuous wood worktop and recessed sinks.

To create this rustic-style bathroom I installed tounge and groove panelling, a free-standing red bath, traditional sink cabinet and shower enclosure with metro-tiling.

To make the most of this shower room space I installed a full width shower with full height metro tiling and continued half-height tiling around the rest of the room.

This cloakroom re-fit features large format marble-effect tiles to half height and a luxury vinyl wooden floor. I put in a concealed cistern to keep the space neat.

In this bathroom I fitted high-end fixtures with a streamlined look with wall-hung toilet and double vanity unit in wood effect. A full width mirror completed the design.

In this compact cloakroom I fitted a simple wall hung toilet, concealed cistern and wall hung vanity. The look was completed with glitzy grey tiles and black paint.

This main bathroom had the luxury treatment with marble tile, a bespoke glass shower enclosure, which I organised, and heritage sink and fixtures.

Built in cabinetry that I fitted in this bathroon gave a neat finish, with wooden worktop and mosaic tiling around the bath for colour and interest.

A 1930s swimming pool was the inspiration for this bathroom in which I fitted a back to wall bath, wall hung vanity, toilet and quadrant shower enclosure, finished with geometric black and white floor tiles.

In a loft conversion I created a cosy bathing space by fitting the bath under the eaves, with a useful cubby hole in the wall.
