Info & Pricing

I understand that the decision to carry out work to improve your home is not taken lightly and is often something that has been saved up for. I want to make understanding the process and the pricing of my services as easy as possible. I am always very happy to talk through your project with you, but if you would like to read some of the most frequent questions I am asked - then these are detailed below.

"How long will the work take to complete?"

Every project is different, but as a general rule of thumb the average time to re-fit a new bathroom or kitchen is 2-3 weeks. A cloakroom normally takes 1 week

"How much will the job cost?"

To make the pricing of my work easy to understand, I use a fitters matrix. When I supply you with a quote I will send you the matrix with the work to be carried out marked on it. The matrix is an itemised list of each element of the fit, with a cost associated with each element. This makes it straight-forward to see how the final total has been reached.

"Do you sub-contract the work?"

My first training as a heating and plumbing engineer, and my extensive experience of bathroom and kitchen fitting means I can do almost all of the work myself. I only sub-contract the plastering, which I will arrange for you to co-ordinate with your fit. I also have a certified electrician who will come and certify any electrical work that I do as part of your re-fit.

"Do you offer a warranty on your work?"

I offer a two year warranty on my labour. The sanitary ware and fixtures and fittings generally come with their own guarantees and warranties. If you experience any problems with your new room, you can contact me and I will come and take a look at any issues and discuss how they can be rectified.
